C3S European Tourism stand at ITB 2019
We were involved as part of a pan-European team developing and delivering an operational Sectoral Information System (SIS) for the European tourism sector on behalf of the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF). A set of climate indicators was tailored to address the particular needs of the sector, and designed to accommodate a highly diverse set of users. The Tourism Company had a particular interest in rural tourism and lake water temperature.
