Economic Impact Assessment of the Holiday Park Industry in Wales
The Tourism Company worked with Roger Tym and Partners to produce an independent evaluation of the economic value of the holiday park industry to the Welsh economy.
The study looked at both gross impacts and net additional impacts to the Welsh economy using data from a number of sources including interviews with managers/owners of holiday parks.
The assessment covered the direct and indirect impacts split between holiday camp self-catering, camping, touring caravan, and both let and privately owned holiday homes.
